Hu Haifei was born in an ordinary family in Qinhuangdao City in September 1999. When he was a child, his mother often sang some Japanese songs for him. When he was in third grade, a copy of One Piece became the key to unlocking his fascination with Japanese. At the age of 10, he used his spare time to finish more than 300 episodes of anime within half a year. Perhaps, this is the power of interest.

Hu Haifei said that he is a fan of Japanese ACG culture and has been fond of Japanese manga since he was a child. In order to keep abreast of the latest anime stories, he often went to Japanese exchange forums to post and reply by himself. In the process, he mastered a lot of popular Internet culture and Internet language. In addition, he spends a lot of his free time looking for games that are not translated into Chinese, such as Neal Machine Age, that he is interested in, and translating them himself to play.
"During this process, my vocabulary gradually deepened and broadened, and there was my own time for entertainment and recreation, so I could seamlessly integrate into my new round of professional study." Making good use of games, instead of indulging in them, made his Japanese learning more effective with less effort.

In the Shijiazhuang Japanese Speech Contest, he only learned Japanese for one year. His idiomatic pronunciation and fluent oral expression were highly recognized by the Chinese and Japanese judges, and he won the special award.
None of this is in the bag. Hu Haifei said: "In the process of learning Japanese, you must be willing to endure hardship. Language accumulation is a long process, in which the most important thing is to find a suitable learning method. As long as you can make use of your spare time and devote yourself to learning, this is a suitable learning method for you. The more you master the language characteristics of different environments and cultures, the more you will be able to improve your language ability." Many classmates think he is the "great master" of Japanese, but he has won N1, but he modestly said: "Now I have got the honor of Japanese N1 which I have been longing for, but I am more aware that my Japanese level is far from natural and comprehensive, and the real Japanese learning has just begun. I will go further and further towards my ideal Japanese language ability."
