To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Zhou Haoli, Ambassador of Indonesia to China, and His wife Ai Qianwei held a banquet at The Four Seasons Hotel in Beijing on the evening of December 9, 2020. Xiao Ping, Member of the School committee of Hebei International Studies University and president of The Institute of International Finance, and Professor Li Zehui, dean of Business were invited to attend the banquet.
As the language construction base for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, Hebei International Studies University offers 75 languages, among which the Institute of International Finance offers Indonesian, Malay, Swedish, Yoruba and Lithuanian. In order to improve the international level of the school and create a good Indonesian learning environment for students, the School of International Finance and the Indonesian Embassy have exchanged visits for many times and maintained long-term friendly exchanges and interactions.
At the end of the dinner, the ambassador and his wife personally sent the two presidents downstairs and carefully prepared gifts. He said, "thank you very much for coming to our banquet and celebrating this special day with us. I hope that the Indian language of Hebei International studies University will get better and better, and we will continue to support you."
The dinner ended in a happy atmosphere, and the friendship between Hebei International Studies University and the Indonesian embassy is closer. I believe that through frequent exchanges and visits, the relationship between Hebei International studies University and the Indonesian Embassy in China will be closer, and the construction of Indonesian language in Hebei International Studies University will be further improved.

In March 2019, the Institute of international finance was invited to participate in the high-end forum on Indonesian language teaching held by the embassy.
On December 21, 2019, Mr. Yaya sutarya, education counselor of the Indonesian Embassy in China, and his delegation visited Hebei International studies University and brought special lectures to teachers and students.
