In order to ensure student’s study keep on going, the teachers in College of French and German Language choose to start teaching online since February 17th.  Let’s walk in Mr. Sani’s online class together.

Although he can't speak Chinese, and there will be some small communication peoblems with students, but this has not affected his enthusiasm for teaching at all. Before each class, he will remind everyone in the group five minutes in advance to prepare for class, and arrange the learning tasks of the day, so that students can form a good habit of preview before each class start. When we come to the key points of the lecture, he will stop and analyze in detail, after that he will ask students whether they understand it or not. After the class is over, he will let students keep communicate and discuss in the group, and encourage students to put forward problems in time.

Once a time during his online oral class with 200 students, the class got suspended due to the network problem. Mr. Sani try his best to solve the problem, and apologized to the students after he successfully re-connected with the class. Students all expressed their understanding and asked him do not worry about it, because they do like to have his online class very much.

At the same time, our brother countries, international world organizations, and international friends have extended their help to China. Moeurn Linna, a Cambodian teacher living abroad, paid close attention to the epidemic situation in China, and to show his care about his Chinese students’ health through the Internet.

When the epidemic just starts to spread in China, Linna try to use wechat to connect with his students and ask for their health situation. After he known all his students were safe and sound, he was relieved.

During the epidemic situation, our school successively carried out the online teaching activities. Due to the transportation limitation, Linna could not return to China. He starts to learn how to use online app “Dingding” to provide online class to his students. In order to proforma the best lecture to his students, every time he prepare lecture in advance. His online class is interesting and flexible, which greatly stimulated students’ interest in learning Cambodian language. Beside, Linna set a positive example for his students, he tried to learn Chinese during his vocation, for a better understanding of the Chinese culture and to have a better communication with his students in the future.

During the time while Linna care about his students, he still sent his blessing and the confidence that China will be able to overcome the epidemic through wechat, which makes us very moved. “Love without borders”, his great love reflects the friendship between China and Cambodia. We look forward the time when we overcome this epidemic situation, and let’s reunion on the campus of HFSU.
